How to make your motor/camping rest ideal.

I’ve decided to embark on traveling around Canada with 2 my kids under-five, and I was a way more excited than they were. I had many tings to worry about while embarking on the traveling like this. My concerns proved unfounded. Small kids loved campervans. They are magical playhouses on wheels. Our children were playing outside from early until night, and with all that fresh air we all got more sleep than we'd had in years.

We saw far more of the country than we ever expected to have, and we felt in our motorhome like in a well-designed, comfortable flat on wheels.

It’s a real trial - a long journey with small kids, so to smooth it down it’s a key to make some planning. Organizing your trip with a maximum journey time per day when your children are taking a nap is a good idea.

Traveling around Europe
If you are embarking on traveling in mainland Europe, the best option is to rent a van on the continent. Rental costs are a way lower on the other side of the Channel, as are ferry prices if you are driving a standard car over. Germany is the cheapest place to rent a motorhome, but if you are planning a trip to southern Spain and don't have time to trek down from Munich then it gonna be even better to rent in your destination.

Traveling in the USA
We’ve compared fly-drive packages and the costs of paying for flights and vehicle rental separately. As an idea, basic rental for a standard motorhome, with five sleeps, rented from San Francisco, will costs around $540 for a week, although that price does not include some extras, as kitchen fixings and furnishing, which also will come at a small charge. Some rental firms will let you drive across the border to Canada, but some won’t. Most of the firms have restrictions on crossing into Mexico. Check the information regarding the restrictions before you head off.

The camping
You should check the law of the destination country to see if you would be breaking the law by parking overnight for free. Wild camping, by the way, is not legal in England and Wales, but it is permitted in Scotland. It's also allowed in some European countries, but not all of them.
